As in previous years our programme for 2009 includes a selection of the 'Tried and tested', plus new inclusions, which we hope you will enjoy.

The Hinton Firs.

Standing within its own gardens on the East Cliff this lovely hotel offers indoor and outdoor swimming pools, beauty salon and three external comfortable lounges. The dining room is light and airy and serves an extensive and varied menu, excellently prepared. family owned and managed we have no hesitation in recommending it to our customers. A lift serves most floors and there is varied entertainment most nights.

The St. Ives Hotel.

This top quality hotel is almost opposite the Pier at Lytham, within easy walking distance of the shops. All meals are buffet style in the air-conditioned dining room and offers a fantastic choice of menu. An indoor swimming pool and leisure centre is available for guests and entertainment is provided on two nights. A lift serves all floors.

The Warners Holiday Centres.

All the Warners Resorts operate an adults only policy. Although the resorts vary in style and location all offer the same impressive range of facilities. Entertainment is a priority at all of the centres and includes varied cabaret shows, dancing for all tastes, wether your preference is for sequence, modern, line or disco, bingo, quizzies and demonstrations.

All meals are served buffet style offering an excellent choice of menu well prepared and the large number of serving pooints ensure that you are not kept waiting.

All the resorts offer swimmimg pool, large lounge areas and a shop to purchase day to day items plus coffee shops providing light lunches.

The Ambassador Hotel

Situated on the South Cliff Esplanade, this excellent hotel hotel offers fabulous views across the town of Scarborough.

Renowned for its varied menu and service in the air-conditioned restaurant the hotel also boasts an indoor swimming pool and sauna. There will be entertainment in the bar lounge and a lift serves all floors.

The Shanklin Hotel

Occupying a quiet residentail postion with excellent sea views, The Shanklin offers an indoor swimming pool, indoor bowls, ballroom with entertainment nightly, and friendly efficient service. The spacious dining room offers simple but varied menus, well prepared. A lift serves most floors.

The Afton Hotel

Standing on the seafront directly opposite the Pier, yet within easy walking distance of the shops, The Afton has long been a favourite with our passengers. The new ballroom and open plan lounge proved very popular last year. The cuisine is well prepared and served in the air-conditioned dining room. There is entertainment most nights and a lift serves most floors.

The Seabury Hotel

An extremely friendly family run hotel situated within easy walking distance of Babbacombes' shops and cliff tops. All the food is home made and well served in the cosy elegant dining room. The lounge bar provides entertainment most nights in a very informal atmosphere. The hotel has a pleasant garden area with an outdoor swimmimg pool. Although the hotel does not have a lift, there are some ground floor rooms.

The Hartland Hotel

Budes premier hotel. It commands a superb position overlooking Summer Leaze Beach yet only a short walk from the towns' main shopping area. The elegant dining rooms maintains a very high standard of cuisine and service and the lovely lounge areas offer luxurious leather Chesterfields for your relaxation. Entertainment is provided some nights in the Lounge Bar and the hotel offers a heated outdoor swimming pool. A lift serves all floors.

The Cliffe-Norton

What a superb position this friendly family run hotel occupies, offering stunning views across the bays and harbour, yet only a few minutes stroll into the town centre.

The restaurant offers an excellent and varied choice of menu plus 'Chefs Little Extras'.

A friendly atmosphere and entertainment most nights, want more could you want? A lift serves all floors.

The Royal York & Faulkner

A fine regency hotel at the centre of Sidmouth's Esplanade and adjacent to the shopping area. The Ashley Courtney recommended restaurant offers excellent and varied cuisine and service. The hotel also offers a jacuzzi, lovely lounge areas and entertainment, a lift serves all floors.

The Bancourt Hotel

A family run hotel offering an indoor swimming pool, large ballroom and quiet lounges, traditional choice of menu, well prepared and served. The hotel stands in the outskirts of Torquay, approximately 20 minutes walk from the town centre, but the hotel can arrange transport into town. A lift serves most floors

Cumbria Grand Hotel

A large imposing Victorian hotel on the outskirts of Grange-over-Sands, standing within its' own grounds and with lovely views across Morecambe Bay. Owned by Strathmore Hotels it is renowned for good traditional cuisine and service. Entertainment is provided most nights and a lift serves most floors.

Quality Hotel Bolden Park

This modern hotel occupies a quiet position on the edge of Bolden Business Park. On previous visits we have always been impressed by the quality of service and cuisine which is served buffet style. The hotel also boasts an indoor swimming pool and sauna. There is no lift but plenty of ground floor rooms.

The Alexandra Hotel

Another imposing Victorian hotel but completely modernised and refurbished to a very high standard. The hotel is situated on the end of the High Street and it is only a stones throw to the main shopping area. Once again traditional Scottish cuisine is well prepared and served in the large air-conditioned restaurant. A lift serves all floors.

The Duke of Gordon Hotel

One of the Highlands premier hotels it is well known for its Scottish hospitality and cuisine. Although it has been completely refurbished it still retains a lot of its original features from its days as an eighteenth century coaching inn. The hotel has a resident piper and provides Highland entertainment on most nights. A lift serves most floors.

The Osbourne Hotel

A friendly family run hotel, within easy flat walking distance of the Esplanade and Harbour. A good choice of menu is well served in the light and airy restaurant. Entertainment is provided most nights and a lift serves most floors.

The Beachcroft Hotel

A lovely medium sized hotel, family owned and managed. Come out of the front door and you are straight on to the beach.An excellent choice of menu and service in the seaview dining room. The hotel boasts an indoor swimming pool and ocean view garden.

There is no lift but a limited number of ground view rooms are available.
